The piece I submitted is titled "Woman with Secrets", it is made from recycled Miami hurricanes Katrina and Wilma plywood and a recycled plastic bathmat from T2T that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill.
Trash-2-Art will celebrate artistic creations that have given new life to trash-bound materials. The hope is that this exhibition will help all of us see the treasures in our own trash. This organizations has caused me to rethink how I use materials See video below by Lew Lautin.
As part of Trash to Treasure's Art in Public Spaces, view a video of the wall mural I created using recycled house paints that will be inside their Fair Trade Boutique. Boutique opens May 7th, with the grand opening of the Fair Trade Boutique May 15th. The titled of the mural is "Green Warrior".
